Who is this course for?
Experienced sailors who are working towards the advanced standard. This is an opportunity to explore whether you are ready for the advanced course or if some more training is required. Apply & practice your coastal navigation skills. Experience shows that crew during the advanced course are often rusty with these skills.
Taking the five day prep course helps you to be ready for the three day challenge or the seven day Advanced Course.

Certification: Preparation course for the Sail Canada Advanced Standard

- Intermediate Cruising Standard / or similar experience - PCOC - Basic coastal navigation standard |

- Intermediate Coastal Navigation - 30 days sailing, 15 days as skipper - 350 NM - VHF - ROC(M) - Skill Development Clinics. |
