Vic-Maui team trains with the return delivery crew
Poseidon finally had mercy: The last of the Polar Bear races saw a nice breeze, sunshine and spring temperatures. The team was a mix of Vic-Maui race crew, return delivery crew and sailors that typically sail on Havoc with Gunnar Johnson.
A light breeze allowed us to fly the spinnaker. Hoist, gybes and dousing went really well. Some close, but good calls dodging anchored freighters.
It was a great turn out for the last race of the series. A big thank you to the Vancouver Rowing Club, the race organizers and the committee boat team!
