Who is this course for?
This our standard advanced sailing course for sailors who want to experience night sailing and take their skills to the next level.
A 48 hr non-stop sail is at the core of the course. You will practice coastal navigation by day and night, learn different crew overboard recovery procedures and use different sails.

course Description

We board the boat in the morning of day one and do a systems check. We discuss the navigation plan for the course and prepare the boat for night sailing.  The first day we will go to Howe Sound.  On day two we sail along the Sunshine Coast. Then we set sail for the 48 hr non-stop sail which will take us either up the Strait of Georgia into Desolation Sound and back or we sail south, through the Gulf Islands & the Strait of Juan de Fuca and end up at Poets Cove resort where a hot tub awaits. The last night we spend at the marina in Snug Cove (Bowen Island). The itinerary will be adjusted depending on weather and currents to make the most of the training.
